Alex Parrish

Alex Parrish (he/him) is a Queens-based music director, composer, educator, and performer with more than a decade of experience in the NYC theatre industry. He practices innovative music education to foster artistic agency in all his students and clients, and utilizes an ‘individuality-within-the-collective’ pedagogy in ensemble and choral directing. He has scored major works in musical theatre, film, and multimedia spectaculars, taught in more than forty public and private tristate area schools, and performed in numerous Off-Broadway and regional shows. He is the founder of Parrish Music Services Inc., a graduate of NYU Tisch (BFA in Drama) and the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop, and a proud member of Actors Equity and the Dramatists Guild. www.parrishmusicservices.com
